The Rotary Foundation is the charitable arm of Rotary. It supports members’ work to improve health, expand learning, protect the environment, reduce poverty, and advance understanding between people.
Its story began with Arch Klumph’s 1917 proposal for an endowment. From a first contribution of $26.50, the Foundation developed into a source of support for projects around the world.
Donations help fund humanitarian service, polio eradication, scholarships, and peacebuilding. The Foundation connects generosity with the practical knowledge of Rotary members and their community partners.
